Eclipse padded his way through the forest his paws skimming over the twigs. Suddenly he heard a squeak and turned around to see a rather plump mouse running around a stump. He licked his lips eager to taste the mouse. He got into hunting position and pounced snapping the mouse's neck instently. He began to eat it it was juicy with flavor and he savoured it in his mouth. Each bite tasted great. |

Midnight was padding under the giant oak. As she turned around, she scented another cat. The she-cat mewed out in surprise and looked around. She finally spotted it--another cat, a tom. Midnight padded over to him. "Hello," she mewed cautiously, seeing that he had a piece of prey. She knew that this oak and around it was unclaimable territory since it was used so often. So she guessed nobody would mind if anyone took soem prey...

Eclipse spun around to see the she cat standing there. He nodded "Hey there." He winked at her flirting. He couldn't help himself he did this to all the she cats he met and it rarley worked so what was the harm? |

Midnight raised a paw, let it hover in the air, then put it down. What was that? she thought to herself as she replied, "Is the prey running good?" She wondered what to do when he winked at her, she decided to ignore it. The she-cat was glad that this tom hadn't attacked her, and guessed she was friendly. This was neutral territory, she knew, so there really wasn't anything to worry about. Or was there? She shook the thought out of her head and sat down, staring into the tom's eyes, wondering if that mouse tasted good.

Eclipse seen it in the she cats eyes that she wanted the mouse he had caught. He picked it up in his strong jaws and set it down infront of her.
"Ya it's running great, here you can have this." He opened his mouth to scent the area he decided on a bird. He stalked it and pounced snapping it's neck in a flury of feathers. He brought it back and began to eat it. |

Kiba watched a couple of loners. RTurning to his sister he whispered softly. "Stay here until I see if it's safe." With that he padded out of the bush and up to the loners. He wasn't sure how to introduce himself so he just cleared his throat to get there attention.
Star watched nervously. She hopped her brother would find some info out about them. They where new in the area and didn't know where anything was let alone a place she would be safe when giving birth to her kits.

Midnight was about to reply to Eclipse when she heard a sound. Turning around quickly, she saw a cat. Her mind whizzed, hacing her wodner if he was a friend or foe. After a moment, she realized that he had no aggressive gleam in his gaze and was not poised to fight. Her common sense broke in, and she saw he wanted to speak. "Hello... I have not seen you around here," she replied simply, gazing at him. She heard a movement in the bushes but took no notice of it.

Kiba gave a slight smile. At least one of the cat's seemed ok. "I'm Kiba I am looking for a place that would make a good den for a queen about to give kits?"
Star purred softly. She trusted the cat that spoke to her brother. Standing up she padded out of the bush but stayed behind her brother. "I'm star and as you know this is Kiba he is my brother."

Midnight nodded at each of the cats. "My name is Midnight," she replied simply. Staring around her, she saw the other cat, who had just offered prey to her. She decided to ignore him, and glanced around some more. All she saw was the giant oak, the Friendship Oak. "Around that area," she mewed, flicking her tail in the direction of the Clans, "Is taken up by a large group of cats." She hoped she was giving a big hint: DO NOT GO THERE!

Eclipse nodded in greeting. "I'm not sure of any places, keep looking around maybe you will see a cave or something." He felt sorry for the tom who was obviosly hiding the she cat. He wished he could help but he had no clue how to take care of kits. |

Midnight turned when the tom spoke. "Here," she mewed, thinking. "I think I saw a nice pond over there somewhere, filled with fish. That would be good to keep the kits fed during leafbare," she suggested. Turning to the tom, she asked, "Have you seen it?"

Kiba was amazed out how nice the cat's where and how they really seemed to want to help him and his sister. "Ok I'll make sure to never go that way when hunting. No we haven't seen the pond yet but we both know how to fish and swim. Can you show us where it is that would be really great. As you probably noticed my sisters kits are due soon."
Star purred softly "it sounds perrrfict" she purred softly. Star laid down and began to groom her belly.

Midnight nodded. "I think I know the exact way," she mewed thoughtfuly, thinking in her mind where it was. She turned to the tom who ahd shared prey. "Will you come and help?" she asked, hoping he still would be as friendly once they left the neutral zone.
