Name of Cat: Ashstar
Cat's Age: 32 Moons
Cat's Gender: Tom
Cat's Clan: WindClan
Cat's Position: Leader
Cat's Appearance: Rather average in size, but big in voice, Ashstar's nasty temper tend to intimidate others more than his sheer appearance does. His pelt is short, which adds to his slender, yet somewhat muscular build, and his fur is a beautiful contrast of ginger, brown, and tan. The tom is slightly longer legged than most clans, partially due to being a WindClan cat, and his paws tend to be quite large for his size, to help build speed when chasing after prey.
Ashstar's under throat, as well as his muzzle and part of his chest are a creamy white, as well as the tip of his long tail. The WindClan leaders muzzle is of average length, but his head is extremely rounded, leaving just enough space for his large pointed ears. The leader also has a pair of dazzling sea blue eyes, which seem to pierce into your soul. Although he may not seem like a threat at first glance, he sure can be, and caution is advised when dealing with such a cat.
Cat's Personality: Sharp tongued, and short tempered, Ashstar is definitely not the kind of cat you want to mess with. He tends to become annoyed quite easily, and his amount of patience is extremely low, causing him to be especially bad tempered on slow, and less than efficient days. Ashstar is honestly a force to be reckoned with, and it's best to stay on his good side when he's having a meltdown.
Despite this, Ashstar is actually a fairly noble leader, taking pride in his clan's strength and accomplishments. He sees his clan mates as equals and isn't afraid to praise his loyal warriors on a short notice. As leader, he believes that his clan is far stronger and more deserving then the other two clans, despite the three being just as equal. Everything is about pride with Ashstar, and although he can be quite ambitious, he follows the Warrior Code extremely closely.
Truthfully, Ashstar does not believe in neither helping other clans, nor stealing from other clans, believing that the cats should deal with problems within the clans themselves. On his part, the tom has never been known to seek another clan for help, and would only do so if it meant life or death for his clan. Ashstar is a very brave tom as well, not afraid to risk his own life if it means protecting his clan. On the outside is a tough, bad tempered tom, but on the inside is a loyal and brave leader trying to do what he thinks is best for his clan.
Cat's History: A true WindClan cat, Ashstar [Ashkit back then] was born into a litter of three, the other two kits being Berrykit and Marshkit, both who died soon after birth due to a complicated labor. Ashkit's mother and father, Swallowtail and Russetface, were extremely hurt by the event, and furthermore, Swallowtail died a few days after the heart felt birth, having become both weakened and overwhelmingly depressed by her kits deaths.
This left Ashkit all alone, as well as his father Russetface. However, being in WindClan, he rest of the clan were more than happy to comfort the two, and did their very best to take care of the last remaining kit. Ashkit was taken into the nursery to be fed by another queen that had just had a small litter of kits as well, and she happily accepted him, rearing Ashkit almost as if he were her own. Russetface however, was completely crushed having lost his beloved mate, and began thinking about how she would still be alive if she had never had kits.
Angrily, Russetface began blaming Swallowtail's death on Ashkit, and almost immediately, he wanted nothing to ever do with the young kit, leaving WindClan one quiet night never to return. The absence was strange, but the clan still went on caring for Ashkit, and soon he became old enough to become an apprentice. The young tom was extremely excited, and although he could sometimes be too harsh when playing with the other kits, the clan knew he'd make a great apprentice.
When finally Ashkit was dawned the title of Ashpaw, the tom was extremely proud, strutting about as if he were the most important apprentice in the clan. from that moment on, he vowed to become the greatest warrior in the clan, and worked exceptionally hard at training practices, and hunting practices, never returning unless he had caught at least something. He grew quickly, but never once asked about his father, as he had always thought that he had never had one, and as for his mother... he already had one as far as he could see.
After many days of hard work, Ashstar was made into a warrior, thus earning him the name Ashcloud. He hadn't been surprised, seeing how hard he had been working, and he still continued going far beyond his expectations. He helped the clan in any way he could, and was often relied on in times of need when the leader or deputy were not present. He was always happy to help, no matter what help it may be, for he knew that it was the right thing to do.
Then came the day that blew the young toms mind. After the sudden death of the previous WindClan deputy, Ashcloud was made WindClan deputy. Ashcloud was equally surprised, but immediately accepted the privilege to a full extent. Now knowing how large of a duty he had on is shoulders, he became almost official, keeping his fellow clan mates in line. Organizing patrols, and guarding his clan with his life, he served a relatively short time as deputy, as it was not long before the previous leader died of old age, which declared Ashcloud, leader, now named Ashstar.
Ashstar has been leader for only a few moons now, but he has been doing an exceptional job, and takes pride in his clans accomplishments. His clan is his family, and he would do anything to protect them, even if it means sacrificing his own life. WindClan is the center of his world, and is honestly all he even has to live for. He won't let it slip through his paws.
