Stonetooth, the RiverClan deputy, waited by the stream watching the water. He waited silently to spot a fish. After a heartbeat, he spotted a flash of silver. He unseathed his claws and quickly dabbed them in ahead of the fish. Sucess! he flicked up a squirming fish onto the banks. He killed it easily and was proud of his catch. This fish was nice and plump and would feed two apprentices. He stood up, looking at his pile of three fish, wondering if he should catch some more as leafbare was coming, meaning the river would freeze and it would be hard to fish.

Dewdrop was comming to the river to get a drink when she spotted the deputy. "Hey there Stonetooth nice catch" She commented on his fishing skills. She went to the side of the river and stared. Waiting for a fish to come by so she could swipe it. Suddenly a flash of silver caught her eye and she struck killing it with one powerfull strike. She set it down on the ground near Stonetooths. |

Stonetooth flicked his tail in a thanks, then started to fish again. He caught one more fish and lay it down ontop of of Dewdrop's. He turned his head and stared into her eyes. "How is everything going?" he asked casualy, then added, "Nice fish you caught there," just for good measure.

Dewdrop nodded her thanks. She thought about how the last past days had been. Cold that was for sure but nothing much had happened. They have been good." She awnsered simply. |

Stonetooth nodded. "Yeah." He didn't have much to say. He sat down and waited for another fish to come. After a while, he turned just to look at Dewdrop.

Dewdrop was aware of the Deputy's eyes on her and she turned to face him. Her look was questioning. |
