IC - Leafkit ignored Rainkit for a second and thought. "I thwink I awm fowr moons," the kit said, thinking that was true. Ywes, the kit thought. Mwom dwied alwmost fwor moons agwo. Leafkit then turned towards Rainkit. "Thawt isn't faiwr!" she cried, stomping towards him.

Rainkit hissed playfully "you want it than come and get it Kittypet." Rainkit circled than ran at leafkit and jumped over her before turning around. "Come and get me if you can."

Cloudkit sighed and shook her head. "He is such a pain. If you want Leafkit I'll help you get it back. You know your only a moon younger than me and mouse brain over there."

Rainstar enjoyed the kits play. She hoped that Leafkit wouldn't tale offence to anything Rainkit said. She decided that she would just watch instead of interfering. Her mind was already full of leaf bare and how horrible it was going to be. It was totally unpredictable what if this year was the worst?

IC - Leafkit was angry at being called a kittypet. "Bwut I'm nwot!" she cried unhappily, then watched the cat leap over her. She crouched down so he would not land on her. At Cloudkit's words, Leafkit skipped playfuly over to her. "Lewt's gwet him!" she laughed, and started to race at Rainkit.

[COOKIESTAR!!!!!!!]

Silvermoon went over to Rainstar. "I hope Leafkit is ready to be an apprentice by leaf-bare", she said in a hushed tone. "I'll need help stoking herbs before", she mummered. "but sne's only 4 moons", she said in alert. "How many moons till leaf-bare", she asked not remembering.

Rainkit squiked and began to run at top speed. "You'll never get me or the moss ball." Rainkit turned andpranced around Rainstar before racing for the medicine cat's den. As he got in he looked for a hiding spot. Seeing a crack in the wall he ran for it and wiggled in kicking out a bunch of leaves and berries squicshing a couple in his wake.

Cloudkit raced after her brother hissing angrily. "You are so mean Rainkit. You will not get away with this" she yowled racing after him into the medicine cat's den. As she came in she stopped at the entrance staring at the mess her brother had made.

Leafkit squealed, "NWO!" as she watched the kits tumble into the medicine cat den. Quick as lightning, she dashed in and cried out in shock. The whole place was a mess! She hissed at Rainkit, who she could see inside a crack. She stared around, horrified, at how smooshed berries and ripped leaves were scattered everywhere. "Now...," the mkit mewed franticly, "Thwear will be nwo hewrbs for weaf-bware!" She quickly dived downa nd picked a berry in her mouth. She set it down in its pile. She raced around, trying to sort things out before her leader, or worse--the medicine cat, found out.

Rainstar kept her voice hushed. "I think there's less then a moon before leaf bare." She knew what the medicinecat was asking she wanted to know if Leafkit could be the medicine cat apprentice. Rainstar totally agreed with this. "I think that Leafkit would be a great medicine cat apprentice."

Cloudkit stared in horror she couldn't believe her brother had done that. She quickly went about trying to help Leafkit. "What are we going to do? Rainkit is going to get us in so much trouble." She quickly put some unsquished berries in a pile to one side and put the squished ones to the other side.

Rainkit peeked out of the crack. Freaking out he ran from the den and stuck to the shadows hoping not to be seen. He quickly cleaned the herbs off of him so he didn't smell like them any more and went over to a small puddle of water.

Leafkit was silent with horror, oppisite of her usual self, but was as fast as can be. She picked up a herb in her mouth, and as she was pulling it towards its pile a piece went down her throat. She stopped, feeling dizzy. Her head spun and she fell down. All she could see was red and black.

Cloudkit let out a loud yowl and raced over to leafkit to see what the leaf looked like. She took a close look at it. She had learned a couple of the leaves when watching the medicine cat as she grew up. The one that leafkit swallowed looked like a Tansy leaf but she wasn't sure they needed help. "Stay put Leafkit I'll go get help." Cloudkit turned and raced out of the den. "HELP SOMEONE HELP US!"

Leafkit couldn't not stay put, as she had fallen with her head on her paws and everything was cooling down to white. She struggled to breath, it came out in harsh, rasp breaths. As far as she knew, she was going to die. She tried to have her mother's eyes flash infront of her like the elder's say happens when you die, but it did not happen. She just lay there, slowly feeling more faint then before.

When no one came Cloudkit ran back in and shuffled amoung the leaves. She remembered the medicine cat saying something a moon ago about a herb being able to make the cat throw up something that wasn't good for them. She had called it Yarrow. Now if only she could remember what she had said it looked like. Just than she remembered and saw the plant at the same time. She grabbed a leaf and ran back to leafkit. "Eat this quick it should make you feel better hopefully."

Leafkit could not choose what she did. She tried opening her mouth, but a pain shot through her and everything turned black once more. Her body fell limp, and it was shivering all over. Leafkit knew that she was going to die.

Cloudkit chewed the leaf up making sure not to swallow any of it than spat it out and forced it into leafkit's mouth. She than held her mouth shut so she couldn't spit it out and would be forced to swallow it. "Swallow it please leafkit just swallow the leaves."
