Leafkit could feel something in her mouth, but the feeling faded as she gagged, accedently swallowing it. Before she knew it, her last pieces of prey were lying infront of her, as well as a stray piece of a leaf. Leafkit got some senses back, but still strugglked on breathing. She lay, with her head on her paws, asleep.

Cloudkit was relieved when she saw the leaf out of her system. She swept the leaf and pray to the side and began to tug leafkit over to one of the empty nest's. She looked around but couldn't find any water any where. She began to cry. Her wail could probably be herd all the way to the warriors den.

Silvermoon heard something in her den. "Oh no! Rainstar, I think the kits went in my den!", she said running to her den. "What are you doing in here and are you ok Leafkit!", she said bendong down to her. "What did she eat, what did it look like", she asked Cloudkit in panik. "Laefkit, Leafkit, can you hear me", she cooed looking at the kits body. "Now, why are you in my den", she asked the kits. "Hm, I don't remember giving you permission. There are a lot of herbs that can be dangerous if eaten for the wrong purpose", she said with a sigh. "Where's Rainkit?", she asked looking around.

Cloudkit shrank back in fear. Her size got smaller than it usually was. She wasn't sure which question to answer first. "I...I...I d...don't know wh....what she ate. B...b....but I g...gave her s...some yarrow and she th...th...threw it back up." Cloudkit's voice was barely a squicked as she replied. Her whole body was shaking. "R...rain kit r...ran."

Silvermoon's face began to soften. "Thank you Cloudkit. Yarrow was the right thing to give her and she should be fine soon", she said flashing her brilliant smile. "Where is Rainkit?", she asked looking around.

Cloudkit perked up a little and moved just a little closer. "After me and Leafkit caught him in here he ran off before he got into trouble. Me and Leafkit where trying to clean up the mess when Leafkit breathed in a leaf. I don't know where he went from there."
Rainkit padded at the puddle wondering what was taking his sister so long to come back out.

Rainstar ran into the den upon hearing all the noise. She was deeply worried about leafkit, the clan couldn't afford to lose any cats. Also she had developed a special kind of bond with Leafkit making her even more worried. "Leafkit what leaf was it?" She asked staring at the kit her eyes wide with worry. |

Leafkit shook. Her whole body aced. Her head was spinning, everything was white or black or red. She kept her eyes closed, but moved her paws around franticly. She was better then before, but she wondered if it would stay. Freshkill is chased, caught, then eaten. Then comes the hunger. She reversed the old saying into her own words. Pain startes, gets worse, loosens, then comes back. That was the only thing she could do, the rest of her was numb.

Cloudkit looked up at Rainstar. "The leaf is out of her system now her body just needs time to heal. I think it was a tansy leaf it's over there. I pushed it to the side for now till we can get it cleaned up." Cloudkit mumbled everything still looking at her paws. She was afraid of getting into trouble.

Leafkit lay there, wishing the pain would go away. As if StarClan heard her, it started to lift. But slowly, and it sent shivers down her spine every time. Soon, she could feel her paws, ears, and tail. Just not the rest of her. She could also start to hear some tones from around her--was that Cloudkit talking? She could not be sure.

Rainkit padded away from the puddle and peeked into the Medicine Cats Den. He could see his sister, Rainstar and Silvermoon all standing around Leafkit who wasn't moving. He went to step back but before he had the chance Cloudkit's eyes met his. "What happened is Leafkit ok?"
Cloudkit hissed angrily at her brother. "Thanks to you Leafkit could have died Rainkit! She could have died!" Her claws sunk into the ground. She wanted to shred her brothers ears. Leafkit was her best friend. She couldn't even think of a day where she couldn't talk to her.
